According to an aptitude test I took in high school, I was destined to be a plumber. My dad was in the trades, and I respected the test results, but I decided to go in a different direction by being the first one in my family to earn a college degree. Four years later, I graduated with a fine arts degree in graphics design from the State University of New York at New Paltz and never looked back. I love design and have spent a lot of time designing "stuff" over the years including award-winning websites, email campaigns, magazines, and annual reports.
In my current role as Senior Director of Creative Services at the State University of New York at Binghamton, I manage a talented group of print designers and web developers that are responsible for the visual brand. We have accomplished great things over the last eight years including redesigning binghamton.edu not once, but twice and visually rebranding the University with a fresh mark, logotype, colors, and typography. We created a design system that makes building web pages much easier, faster and more consistent. The team also produces eight magazines annually and handles all print- and web-related work for student recruitment. We complete roughly 550 jobs per year.
The print team is in the process of redesigning the University magazine which has a distribution of 120k. The web team is continuing their work on optimizing landing pages, search engine optimization and reporting on web metrics using Google Data Studio. (updated June, 2022)

Logan's Garage is a new e-commerce website my family and I launched in the summer of 2020. The idea was pretty simple, create a boutique website that sells Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars and trucks. Check out Logansgarage.com!
The doors closed on Logan's Garage in February, 2022. It was a heavy lift setting up the website and shooting 125+ cars, trucks and SUVs. I still feel it could have been successful, if there was more time in the day. (updated June, 2022)
